Interview with an automotive parts manufacturer

What is your position within the company ?

I am currently in charge of Facility Service. I plan and organize the responce of maintenance teams and service providers.

What is your company’s field activity ?

We are an automotive company that manufactures pieces for air-conditioning systems. What sets us apart is our environmentally – friendly manufacturing process, which is unique in our plant.

What are the tasks linked to your post ?

The professional area of “Facility Service” encompasses all activities related to the company’s installations, from compressed air supply to ventilation, and from electricity to hot water, via air-conditioning systems, as well as annual maintenance and repairs. My work also encompasses the company’s landscaping, including green areas, as well as the design of offices and living spaces.

In what context have you already called on our services ?

We have been working with DV GROUP for several years, and about 90% of our repairs are carried out by your company. The most memorable project was an order for a robot for which KUKA had stopped providing after-sales service for this series, which had become obsolete. It involved replacing a defective controller on the robot. DV GROUP carried out the repair, guaranteeing service and delivery.  Moreover, DV GROUP set up a test bench for this model to ensure its smooth operation. The project was completed to our complete satisfaction in only two months.

Why did you choose to work with DV GROUP ? What convinced you ?

We choose to work with DV GROUP because of our long-standing and trusted partnership. But also for all the aspects linked to the environment, repairs, guarantees and the supply of pieces at the end of the life cycle… In addition, we are delighted with the company’s initiative to plant a tree for every eco-responsible contract signed by one of its customers.

What do you think sets DV GROUP apart from the competition ?

To be honest, I don’t know any of DV GROUP’s competitors in Austria. The advantages are DV GOUP’s a capacity to obtain and repair end-of-life pieces, as well as offering a guarantee on these pieces. For example, replacing on of our Siemens panels would be very expensive if we used a newer model and rewrote the whole programme. Thanks to DV GROUP, this process is way more affordable and quicker, because the old pieces are refurbished.

How did the discussions with DV GROUP go ?

There is nothing to complain about. Our contact at DV GROUP is available and responsive. If I have a problem, I can send them a photo and obtain a response or a proposed solution within a day. Thanks to this responsiveness, everything has gone smoothly so far, and we have felt well advised.
