Experienced electronics technician
Michel - 53 años
What professional journey have you followed?
Following my electronics baccalaureate exam, I did a training course to be an equipment electronics engineer. I had several jobs in electronics maintenance before joining DV GROUP ten years ago, where I have a role as a qualified electronics engineer.
Can you tell us about your assignments in just a few words?
The majority of my assignments are workshop repairs, but there can also be preventive measures or onsite interventions on the client’s premises.
I repair electronic cards for components and carry out specific upgrades on drivers’ internal cards, supplies or various electronic cards or equipment. I create bench tests in order to carry out preliminary checks. I carry out searches for electronic equipment (looking for suppliers, prices, availability etc.) and place orders. To finish with, I also stand in for my manager when he’s absent or when there’s a need.
What do you like most about your work?
What I enjoy in my job is being able to manage a repair from “A to Z” (in electronics, electrics and mechanics up to management). It’s also rewarding for we technicians to work on big projects and to succeed in making the product operational in spite of its initial condition.
What would you be doing if you weren’t doing your current job?
I always wanted to be a musician or a singer!
What would you say to someone who wanted to join DV GROUP?
Joining DV GROUP means first and foremost joining a human team of motivated people ans also having a really interesting job with both personal and professional challenges!
How would you describe your development since you joined the company?
Since my arrival, I’ve learned new skills and have also gained autonomy, which has allowed me to evolve from being a technician to being a qualified technician.
